Resveratrol's Chemopreventive Capacity

Nothing strikes as much fear in a person's heart than the threat of Cancer, and that threat only gets worse as we age. In the past three years, a significant amount of attention has been given to the Chemopreventive capacity of resveratrol. This attention has already led to significant findings; as an example, a group of biologists have discovered that the most active form of the molecule, trans-resveratrol, causes human breast cancer cells to commit apoptosis (suicide).
