Radioactive Iodine Treatment and Your Immune System

I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer in March of 2008. I was only 27 years old at the time, and in complete shock. My surgery for the removal of my thyroid was scheduled immediately. Following my first two radioactive iodine treatments I was constantly sick.
