An Introduction to Neoplasia

Cell growth and maturation are normal events in organ development in the course of embryogenesis, growth, and tissue repair and remodeling after injury. Disordered regulation of these processes may result in decrease of control over cell progress, differentiation, and spatial confinement. Human neoplasia collectively represents a spectrum of illnesses characterized by irregular increase and invasion of cells.
