Helicobacter Pylori Cancer
Medical community believes that H. pylori and not excessive acid secretion is responsible for a majority of stomach ulcers. Though, the bacterium lives in the mucus lining of the intestine, it never invades mucosa. Thus, it keeps itself safe from pepsin and acid secretions in stomach. Helicobacter pylori are also recognized as the main cause of peptic ulcers and their recurrence.
