Cancer - How Dangerous it Can Get

The term 'Cancer' refers to a class of diseases in which a group of cells display abnormal and uncontrolled growth, instrusion and destruction of adjacent tissues, and in some cases spread to other locations in the body to cause similar destruction. Cancers differ from tumors in that while tumors are also abnormal growth of tissue that can be benign or malignant, they are self-limited and do not invade other tissues.
