Cancer - Take Charge of it

Even the spelling of the word invokes fear, dread, hopelessness. Thankfully, I have no personal experience, but I suspect that when a doctor speaks that word to a patient, that patient feels a lump in his throat and tears begin to well. Sometime later, after the initial shock has set in, the individual will begin to recall the past: mistakes made, fractured relationships, words spoken that they wish they could retract.
